The Wake Tech Ready Hall Welding Lab project consisted of a 7,296 sf renovation with an exterior canopy addition and associated sitework improvements, delivering a comprehensive upgrade to support hands-on technical training.

The renovation focused on transforming the existing space into a fully functional welding lab, with infrastructure enhancements to accommodate specialized equipment, improve workflow, and support a safe, high-performance learning environment. Careful coordination of building systems ensured the space meets the rigorous demands of welding instruction while maintaining durability and efficiency.

Complementing the interior work, a new 1,600 sf exterior canopy was constructed to expand usable training space and provide covered outdoor work areas. Sitework improvements were also completed to enhance accessibility, circulation, and overall functionality of the facility.

This project reflects a construction-driven approach to delivering modernized, purpose-built educational environments that support skilled trades development and workforce training.
