The team completed a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the Jones Galley at Eastern Carolina University. The project was designed to modernize and enhance the functionality of the facility while creating a more inviting and efficient environment for students and staff. The scope of work included a full renovation of the existing space along with strategic expansion that introduced several new programmatic elements. A key component was the addition of the new cafe and an exterior courtyard designed to improve circulation and offer expanded seating options. The renovation also included updated conference rooms and lobby to better support both daily operations and special events. To enrich the student experience, the project incorporated a new merchandise shop, a modern dining area, a coffee shop, and a student lounge – creating dynamic spaces for socialization and relaxation. New restrooms were added to support the increased capacity, and a fitness area was introduced to promote wellness on campus.
