Built in 1964 as a union hall, the building had experienced years of decline before Southway transformed it into a modern, vibrant community resource.

Southway renovated the 29,000-square-foot facility into a multi-level community hub featuring cultural and event spaces, artist studios, nonprofit offices, co-working areas, and shared amenities. The redevelopment also introduced a Workforce Development Center and commercial kitchen to provide training opportunities and support economic advancement for area residents.

Through a collaborative vision shaped by residents and community stakeholders, Southway gave the building new life, preserving its legacy while creating a flexible space for organizations, artists, entrepreneurs, and community members to gather, work, and grow.
