Fells Point Station, a former police station built in the 1920s, is located in Upper Fells Point, Baltimore’s oldest waterfront neighborhood.  Although major development was underway in the surrounding neighborhoods, this project was the first new construction in Upper Fells Point in over 50 years. This urban renewal, residential project involves the rehabilitation of the police station’s exterior to meet historic preservation funding requirements, with new construction of a three-story wood framed addition above a concrete podium and a brick façade to complement the existing structure.  The building provides 47 mixed income housing units above parking and a retail space below.
